LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Auburn received a verbal commitment from
Little Rock Christian running back Michael Dyer on Friday, the 20th
verbal commitment for the Tigers’ 2010 recruiting class and their first
running back in the class.
  Dyer is rated a five-star recruit by virtually every recruiting service
in the country.  He is the third-ranked running back in the country and
the top recruit in the state of Arkansas.
  The 5-8, 200-pound running became the state of Arkansas’ all-time
leading rusher last week when he ran for 175 yards and five touchdowns
against Lakeside.  Dyer now totals 7,566 yards and 74 touchdowns in his
prep career.
  He chose the Tigers after narrowing his choices down to Auburn, Arkansas
and Tennessee.
