AUBURN - The Auburn women’s basketball team (14-15, 5-11 SEC) earned the No. 10 seed and will play No. 7 seed Florida (14-15, 7-9 SEC) in the first round of the 2010 Southeastern Conference Tournament. The Tigers and Gators will face off at 1:30 p.m. CT, Thursday at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga.

Action begins Thursday at 11 a.m. CT as eighth-seeded Ole Miss takes on ninth-seed South Carolina. Auburn and Florida follow at 1:30 p.m. CT to close out the first session. In the second session, No. 5 seed Vanderbilt will take on No. 12 seed Arkansas at 5:30 p.m. and No. 6 seed Georgia will face No. 11 seed Alabama at 8 p.m. CT

In the second round, top seeded Tennessee will face the Ole Miss-South Carolina winner at 11 a.m. CT while No. 2 seed Kentucky will face the Auburn-Florida winner. In the nightcap, No. 4 seed LSU will play the Vanderbilt-Arkansas winner at 5:30 p.m. CT while No. 3 seed Mississippi State faces the Georgia-Alabama winner at 8 p.m. CT

All first and second round SEC Tournament games will air live on Fox Sports Net.
